In the early 90s, the progress of the AIDS pandemic seemed bleak worldwide. Oh, we understood what the illness was, how it spread, and experienced some theories on how to handle it, but overall the picture was less than attractive.

Shawn Decker has lived a lifestyle of combined emotions. He was born a hemophiliac in Waynesboro, Virginia in 1975. He received blood item remedies weekly to keep him from bleeding as well much from common injuries. At age eleven, he received blood that was tainted with HIV. After his infection he was expelled from college. His parents fought for his reinstatement and won. He kept his sickness a secret for 10 years following that.

We are also having our yearly gala in June. At the gala we are getting a Hall of Hope and Remembrance exactly where we honor people who have been affected by HIV. This year we are honoring Arthur Ashe and Dennis DeLeon founder of the Latino Commission on AIDS. It’s a hall of fame of sorts. And we are honoring individuals who are continuing to fight AIDS now. Some will be company and some will be individuals. It is a way to keep the development that has been made at the forefront.

This gifted singer carries on to make an impact inside his neighborhood with his activism. In April, Thomas partnered with the Black Management Commission on AIDS of Washington to improve awareness of HIV/AIDS in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. He is taking his dedication to this cause fairly critically. He anticipates collaborating in World ปั้มไลค์ in December and ideas to host a summit on the problem in February 2012.

Next the AIDS crimson ribbon stands for remembering. Remembering these that lost the battle with this illness. To show them respect and how a lot we care about them. There are some ribbons being worn that have the names of those that have lost their life to the illness. To believe of the 1000’s of not just adults but children that have lost the battle.

He’s also becoming methodical in his method to his album release saying he does not want to hurry it. “There are some things that are in me that I really feel that I really need to get out on this project.” He anticipates a fall release or possibly the first quarter of 2012.
